Choreographer Lee Eonju creates works grounded in her personal experiences and emotions, focusing on engagement and exchange with audiences. Based in Busan, she has expanded her activities both domestically and internationally through invitations from multiple countries, continuing to broaden her network of artistic exchange. |
| 무용단 소개 |
Project CHOM은 ‘춤’이라는 가장 원초적인 언어를 통해 지금을 살아가는 몸의 상태를 기록하며 움직임 안에 담긴 동시대 사회와 개인의 서사를 신체 언어로 풀어내고자 한다. Project CHOM seeks to document the condition of the contemporary body through dance as the most fundamental form of language. By doing so, it articulates the narratives of both society and the individual embedded in movement, translating them into a physical language. |

나의 세상은 조용하다. 시끄러운 세상에 침묵을 강요하는 것은 우리가 한걸음 물러서 타인과 사회와의 관계를 주의 깊게 관찰하도록 격려하고자 하는 메시지를 담고 있다. '당신은 지금보다 나아질 수 있다. 당장 그 입을 다물기만 한다면...' My world is rather quiet. Forcing silence in the noisy world means encouraging ourselves to step a little back from their own position and observe the relationships with others and society attentively. ‘You could become a little better than what you are like now, once you shut your mouth right now…’ |
