A contemporary choreographer shaping traces of memory and emotion into movement. In Hazy, an ink stick and inkstone bring the density of longing and time into the body. The work has been invited to festivals in Taiwan, Indonesia, and Laos. |

황정은은 춤을 내면의 세계와 외부 세계를 연결하는 매개로 삼는 컨템포러리 안무가이자 퍼포머이다. 한국적 정서를 바탕으로 개인의 경험을 동시대적 퍼포먼스로 확장해왔다. 에르베 쿠비 컴퍼니와의 협업을 포함한 국제 활동을 이어가고 있다. Jeong-eun Hwang is a contemporary choreographer and performer who sees dance as a medium connecting the inner and outer worlds. Rooted in Korean sensibility, she expands personal experience into contemporary performance. Her practice includes international activities, including collaboration with Hervé Koubi Company. |

그리움은 먹과 같아 계속해서 마음을 들일수록 그 깊이가 짙어지고, 먹의 색과 수분을 머금어 그리움에 젖은 종이는 마른 후에도 희뿌옇게 운다. 그립지만 볼 수 없기에, 그 희뿌옇게 우는 종이를 가진 채 살아갈 뿐이다. As ink darkens through grinding, longing deepens in the body. Paper soaked with ink and longing keeps their colour and moisture, and even after drying, stays lightly creased. Like that paper, the body carries what can no longer be seen, yet never fully disappears. |
