Umeda Hiroaki 우메다 히로아키의 안무작은 2002년부터 파리 샤요 국립극장을 포함해 전 세계의 초청을 받아왔으며, 현재까지 40개국 150여 개 도시에서 공연되었습니다. 그는 예테보리 오페라 무용단, L.A 댄스 프로젝트와 같은 페스티벌 및 무용단으로부터 안무를 의뢰받아 제작에 참여해 왔습니다. 그의 작업 세계는 무용과 안무를 넘어 사운드, 영상, 조명 디자인에 이르기까지 폭넓은 영역을 아우르고 있습니다. Since 2002, Hiroaki Umeda's choreography has been invited around the world including Chaillot National Theater in Paris, with performances in over 150 cities in 40 countries. He was commissioned from and choreographed for festivals and companies such as GötenborgsOperans Danskompani and L.A Dance Project. His work goes beyond dance and choreography, encompassing sound, video and lighting design. |

본 공연은 독창적인 움직임의 언어를 추구하는 ‘무버(Movers)’들과 함께 신체가 지닌 본질적인 가치를 탐구한다. ‘무버 플랫폼(Movers Platform)’은 히로아키 우메다 감독이 차세대와 공명하는 무용과
안무의 새로운 관점을 제시하기 위해 시작한 프로젝트이다. 이 작품은 기존의 틀을 넘어 끊임없이 움직임의 가능성을 탐색하는 무버들이 그려내는 과거와 미래, 그 교차점의 에너지를 경험하도록 이끈다. 이번 ‘익스페리먼트(Experiment)’ 에디션에서는 부산을 기반으로 활동하는 신진 무버들과 협업한다. 동 작품은2025년 부산국제안무가캠프에 마스터 안무가로 참여한 우메다 감독이 부산의 차세대 안무가들과 함께한 안무 창작 과정을 통해 탄생하였다. 이어 올해 진행된 부산 레지던시를 거쳐, 이번 BIDF 2026의 공식 초청작으로서 한국초연으로 선보인다. This performance explores the intrinsic value of movement alongside “Movers” who pursue their own unique physical vocabularies. The Movers Platform is a project initiated by director Hiroaki Umeda to propose new perspectives on dance and choreography that resonate with the next generation. The work invites the audience to experience the energy at the intersection of the past and future, envisioned by Movers who constantly push the boundaries of conventional movement. This Experiment edition features a collaboration with emerging Movers based in Busan. The piece was conceived through a collaborative choreographic process between Director Umeda, who participated as a Master Choreographer in the 2025 Busan International Choreographers Camp, and Busan’s young choreographers. Following a residency in Busan this year, the work will make its Korea Premiere as an official program of BIDF 2026 |
